Swinging Bridge is a talented bluegrass ensemble based in the Venice area of Southwest Florida's Gulf Coast. Now in their sixth year the band performs throughout the state playing traditional bluegrass music with a contemporary twist. "Their hard-driving bluegrass sound along with their great musicianship and tight harmony singing make each song stand up and get your attention" (Benny Kimsey, RE/MAX Premier Bluegrass).

The members of Swinging Bridge are: Chris Bryson (guitar, vocals), Ryan Clark (mandolin, vocals), Alan Colpitts (bass, vocals), Bobby Martin (banjo, guitar,vocals).

In 2003 the band released their first CD project "Rough Edges" which contains a delightful collection of tunes from a broad range of traditional and contemporary sources.
